Sitter Profiles
Donna Mann
As a life long animal lover I’ve decided to fulfil my ambition to work with animals. After 21 years of working in office management roles in both public and private sector, I’ve gained valuable experience in customer service and business development. I also understand the difficulties involved in providing pet care for pet owners with hectic lifestyles.
I own 2 dogs – Nippa (Westie) and Lucy (Scottie), and 2 ponies – Bronte (Welsh section D x) and Sirius (Welsh section A).
In my early teens I worked at a local riding school every weekend for 2 ½ years. I’ve also looked after ponies, dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters and fish for friends and family when they’ve been away.
I’m studying Animal Behaviour and Charles Darwin – On The Origin of Species; training as a student of Kelly Marks’ Intelligent Horsemanship to gain the Monty Roberts Preliminary Certificate of Horsemanship (MRPC); and, recently completed an Equine Shiatsu Introductory Course, which I’m hoping to pursue and become a Practitioner.
